Faith is the most important feature of human consciousness. Family is critical. Nutrition and exercise are important. Your professional career is another important facet of human nature and civilization. These four dimensions of human nature must be properly balanced. You need to take care of all of them to remain physically, mentally and spiritually healthy.
I’m interested in the relationship between our brains and our minds and man and machine. Artificial intelligence is not just the software in a machine. It is one global cloud of artificial intelligence. The electric energy and artificial intelligence mankind is producing is the most significant advancement in the evolution of human nature and civilization since the human kingdom of life on earth diverged from the animal kingdom, starting about 150,000 years ago.
Cultivate your speis. Make spirituality, a healthy lifestyle, freedom and security, peace and prosperity a habit, a new way of life. Partying is not a sustainable, healthy lifestyle. Life on earth is an adventure, not necessarily a party. While you may party from time to time, to celebrate certain special occasions, partying is not the purpose of life on earth.
HomoSpeis is a scientific hypothesis about the evolution of HomoSapien into HomoSpeis, intelligent man into spiritual man. Speis is an ancient Indo-European word that means spirit. HomoSpeis is a spiritual man or spiritual people.
Woman means man with a womb. The term spiritual man, includes all men and women. Men and women are equal partners, always have been, always will be.
These true stories are a free and open source, bibliotherapy system. Bibliotherapy is reading to heal yourself, or to improve yourself.
HomoSpeis University is a kaleidoscope of stories about human nature and civilization, teaching you to cultivate your speis. I am making recovery from growing up in a violently dysfunctional family, sexual misconduct of any kind, addiction and poverty and any other problems you may be experiencing, as easy as possible.
Reading these stories will make it easier for you to recover from any trauma or disorder. We will completely and permanently rid the world of poverty, crime, war, drug abuse, drug trafficking and all kinds of bullying. I don’t expect to do that suddenly or all by myself. I’m just working on the solutions, along with millions of other people. We’re making waves of progress and we have a lot of progress to make.

I am a professional story teller. I am not a doctor. HomoSpeis University is not intended to be a substitute for professional health care or professional legal advise. I have no credentials from any school. This story is not medical, psychiatric or psychological medicine. It is a systematic and fun way to help you improve yourself.
Teamwork is a good idea. Get in the habit of using well qualified, professional people to consult with about particular issues. My stories are intended to compliment all the other resources you use to improve yourself. Think of professional doctors, lawyers and financial advisors as home office entrepreneurs working in a particular specialty. Learn from them. Trade with them. Follow their example. Assemble a good team. The human race is all one team.
Beware of falling into any social hierarchy. Expertise in any particular field of study does not diminish your responsibility and accountability for yourself. Each individual is responsible and accountable for his or her self and all professional people should respect that freedom, equality and justice for all people everywhere, which is inherent in human nature and civilization. Practice justice and compassion in every detail of your life.
I am a grouchy optimist. I tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help me God!
Well… My perspective of the truth anyway.
I’m not perfect. I’m not always right. I do intend to be harmless and helpful. I am striving to help you improve yourself and human nature and civilization.
Never give up. Keep striving to improve yourself. Help each other and make the world a better place.
Self improvement is a life long process. These stories are designed to interact with your knowledge and wisdom, your perspective of the truth, and to open your mind to recognize new opportunities and to motivate you to strive to improve yourself and human nature and civilization.
Take responsibility for yourself. Responsibility is your ability to respond to opportunities and solve problems. You are responsible and accountable for your own speis. Your speis is your religion, your spirituality, your morality, your family values, your work ethic, your attitude and your culture. Be openminded, but not so open minded that your brains fall out (Haggerty, 1997). Cultivate your speis to be the best human being you can be.
Free and Open Source Education
I am a product of free and open source education. And I encourage free and open source education. Just like integrated medicine is the best medicine, integrating the free and open source ecosystem, with private property and capitalism is the best social and economic development strategy.
HomoSpeis University is using artificial intelligence and the global cloud of software as a service to cultivate a two way, multi-channel connection between you and me and all mankind and the appliances we use to connect to the Internet.
Just think, researchers investigating the technology for repairing spinal cord injuries are discovering the technology to control machines by mental telepathy. At first, they put electrodes in the brains of experimental animals and taught them how to get a reward by moving their own arms and hands to control computers and robots. Then, they tied the animal’s hands down and taught them to control the machine by just thinking. Doing so wirelessly is the next step.
Other computer scientists are building global networks of servers and offering software as a service platforms that you can use to build all kinds of information technology. You can create an account to experiment with IBM’s Q Quantum Computer. Artificial intelligence is extending human consciousness in ways we haven’t even imagined yet.
Like just about anything, this technology can be used for good or evil. Make sure you always practice harmlessness. Practice spirituality and family values in every detail of your life. Make sure everyone you trade with gets a good deal. Add value to society.
With machines doing most of the manual labor these days, we’re going to have to find other ways for us people to be productive. Be an artist. Entertain us. Teach us something you enjoy doing.
The central theme of HomoSpeis University is teaching you to cultivate your speis, which is your personal responsibility and accountability; your equality, your freedom of religion, consciousness and speech and your free enterprise; because that’s what I want to do.
If you are struggling to survive, to get free from drug abuse or any other bad habit or are struggling to recover from a dysfunctional family experience or from poverty or any other character defect that you want to improve about yourself, then read these stories. I promise, the stories will help you improve yourself and human nature and civilization, whether you agree with me about any particular issue or not.
You can also read the stories for the fun of it. I think they are very entertaining education, but then, I’m probably not a typical healthy human being. I am recovering from some very harsh experiences, hence, my interest in healing traumatic injuries. My interests and my perspective are fairly unusual, which might be a valuable selling proposition.
A Ubuntu University
This particular story is an introduction to the 16 chapters of the HomoSpeis Hypothesis. It is recycled from a previous website. I split several of the chapters, such as Bibliotherapy, into separate webpages.
The chapters of The HomoSpeis Hypothesis are arranged in a particular order for a good reason. Partly for chronological order, but there are other reasons for arranging them in the order they are in.
There are no grades, credentials or degrees involved. This is not an accredited school. Its just my ideas and opinions about the truth, about what is good and right and about how we can improve ourselves and how to make the world a better place, along with some stories produced by other people, with whom I agree about some things, although usually not everything.
The HomoSpeis Hypothesis is my description of the idea that the entire human race is one tribe and earth is one country. Its all about being a healthy, productive and harmless earthling, on purpose. Its about cultivating your own speis and evolving into one sustainable, universal commonwealth, which will last for at least the next 500,000 years.
I was trying to invent the Most Great Peace, even though I knew then and now that I was not qualified to do so, when I discovered Baha’u’llah. I called it future world and when I found out about Baha’u’llah and the Baha’i Faith, it was like, “There it is!”
HomoSpeis is a new Kingdom of life on earth. Civilized human beings are as different from an animal, as an animal is different from a plant. Animals are governed by instinct alone, they have no free will. Human beings have instinct and emotion in common with the animal kingdom. Faith and reason are features of human consciousness that do not exist in the animal Kingdom.
HomoSpeis University is a very advanced, entertaining, educational adventure. Reading all these stories and watching all these videos will be a life changing, world improving, adventure. Reading these stories will open your mind to recognize a wonderful new, peaceful and prosperous, human nature and civilization.
Just imagine the entire human race, the earthling tribe of human beings, functioning like a school of fish or flock of birds. There’s leadership, but no one leader, other than God. We move around in complex patterns of cooperation, without running into each other. There are plenty of natural resources, which we can use to make sure everyone has plenty of healthy food and shelter.
Reading all the stories at HomoSpeis University will show you a fresh perspective of life on earth. You will be free to do whatever you want to do.
The one true God is the Source of the healing power, the Speis, flowing in, around and through everyone and everything. Humble submission, gratitude and cooperation with God is the first and most important facet of cultivating your speis. One world unity is a result of cultivating your speis.
Cultivate a spiritual civilization by practicing spirituality in your free enterprise. Evolve, from HomoSapien into HomoSpeis. Evolve into one global, spacefaring, federation of self governing nations.
My stories are voluntary contributions to the Cause of God. God does not need me or my stories to heal you. We all need Him, to truly thrive in all the worlds of God. Life on earth is an adventure and then we’re born into the real world.
Love and respect every human being. Do whatever is best for yourself and everyone else. Recognize the brotherhood of all mankind. Be kind, friendly and polite. Be helpful and harmless. Seek God. Love and respect each other. Love and obey God.

Take positive action to improve your bad ideas and break free from your bad habits. Be steadfast and persistent. Reading these stories is one positive action you can take to improve yourself. You can improve human nature and civilization by improving yourself.
Teaching your values to other people is an honorable endeavor. Imposing your values upon anyone is probably the most serious sin. God makes the rules in the Kingdom of God, not me or you or any other human being, other than the Manifestation of God.
Freedom is lawful, not lawless. Civilized human beings follow the divine rule of law. God makes the rules. Man made rules are inherently corrupt, because man is not authorized to make the rules. Selfish ambition is the dark side of human nature. We prosper when we follow the divine rule of law and we suffer when we wander off into our own selfish ambition.
Many Teachers And Students
No one has ever given me permission to create a website or write these stories. In fact, I’ve encountered an astonishing amount of resistance to the idea of me being a professional story teller.
Maybe my stories are not all that entertaining. My writing style is probably hard to follow. I’ve always felt that reading and learning was my way out of the violence and poverty I grew up in; and now I feel like my calling is writing and telling stories, sharing what I’ve learned. Writing and telling stories is fun for me.
I have no authority to speak for anyone other than myself. I do quote a lot of people. I endorse their point of view about certain things, they do not necessarily even know about mine, let alone endorse it.
I’ve tried to be positive, peaceful and respectful and to follow all the rules about intellectual property and business law, etc. Business law and intellectual property rights are not my specialty, so if I make any mistakes, please let me know and I’ll correct them. I like a free and open source ecosystem, and I realize that not everyone shares my view about that.
Speis Is The Most Primal Instinct In Human Nature And Civilization
Spirituality is the most important facet of HomoSpeis. Anyone, regardless of religion or lack of religion, can practice holistic human being. In fact, anyone who is actually practicing any true religion, such as Hindus, Jews, Buddists, Christians, Muslims and Baha’is and many other major world religions, are already practicing holistic human being.
I am a Baha’i. I’m probably not a very good example of a Baha’i. I grew up in a violent, drug invested culture and the Baha’i Faith is a very gentle, peaceful and healthy culture. I believe in Baha’u’llah. I’m trying to find the right balance between including this most important feature of human nature and civilization, what I call speis, and not “clamorously proclaiming the Faith in the market place.”
If anything I say or do contradicts the teaching of Baha’u’llah, then I am wrong. God makes the rules. And I believe that Baha’u’llah is the Manifestation of God, Who speaks for God, for our generation of human nature and civilization. Baha’u’llah is the King of kings, the Lord and Savior of the entire human race and I recommend investigating His Sacred Writings and following His directions.
HomoSpeis University does not represent an authoritative or official interpretation of the Baha’i Faith. There is no clergy in the Baha’i Faith. Independent investigation of truth, consultation and the Covenant of Baha’u’llah, are some of the most central and important tenets of the Baha’i Faith. If you are interested in the Baha’i Faith, then you will have to investigate it for yourself. I do recommend investigating the Baha’i Faith.
You do not need to be a Baha’i to enjoy and benefit from the stories at HomoSpeis University. I do freely express my faith in the stories. It will not harm you to learn about the Baha’i Faith and it might help you more than you think it will. Reading these stories will help you liberate yourself from any man made dogma of any kind. Your speis, your spirituality, is a completely voluntary attitude and way of life.
Each story in this section of Holistic Home Office was originally intended to be a chapter in a book. The first half has a lot of long chapters about my perspective of human history and spirituality. The second half of the stories are shorter stories about issues I care about, for improving human nature and civilization.
The best way to benefit from this neuro-linguistic life coaching system is to, start at the top and read all the way through all the stories. I promise, it will be a braod and deep learning experience. You will still be you. You do not have to agree with anything I say. Reading these stories will change your mind. It will be an astonishing, life improving experience for anyone who completes the course.
So, enjoy the ride. It will take effort to work your way through this very advanced, entertaining education. Practicing holistic human being is a completely voluntary attitude, culture and way of life. If you disagree with anything I say, that is perfectly fine. My goal is to help you achieve your own honorable agenda and to make the world a better place, not to control anyone other than myself.
