Our economy is global. All kinds of tankers, bulk carriers and container ships are transporting goods from every continent to every content, except perhaps Antarctica, nonstop. It is a never ending stream of free and fair trade.
It is not perfect. There is a lot of crime and corruption involved, and we need to respond appropriately and legislate good laws and enforce the rule of law. Private property must be protected and contracts enforced, on local, national and international scales.
